Qatar working to destabilize Sudan

The Qatari regime works tooth and nail to destabilize the region, using a large number of tools.

This regime has even started working to destabilize African states, including Libya and Sudan.

In doing this, Qatar uses the unrest left behind by the revolution against the regime of former Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir. Qatar’s negative role in Sudan comes after the Sudanese people brought Bashir and the Muslim Brotherhood down.

National security

The news channel, al-Jazeera, is the most important tool used by Qatar in destabilizing other countries.

The channel depends on lies and rumors in achieving the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood, especially in Sudan where the people had discovered the falsity of the rhetoric of the group.

A Sudanese news site revealed on January 14 that al-Jazeera planned to conduct an opinion poll on the mutiny staged by some employees of the Sudanese intelligence agency earlier.

Sudanese citizens, the site said, had realized the goal behind the poll and refused to speak to the Qatari channel.

Fake studios

Sudanese sources have revealed that al-Jazeera had set up modern studios and as well as locations similar to those in Sudan with the aim of spreading lies, including fake demonstrators.

A Sudanese news site published a leaked audio of one of the workers of the channel, conceding the presence of these locations.

The channel, he says in the audio, broadcasts false news about Sudan.

Media support

On January 20, al-Jazeera published news about Qatari medical support to Sudan.

Forty-eight hours later, however, the news turned out to be fake, only aiming at covering the transfer of Qatari arms to the Government of National Accord in Libya.

The shipment of Qatari arms was seized in the western Sudanese region of Darfur. It violated a United Nations arms embargo on Sudan.

This discovery caused Sudanese citizens to be angry. They expressed opposition to the use of humanitarian aid as a cloak for the transfer of arms to other countries through Sudan.
