She participated with the Islamic Salvation Front before its foundation in Algeria in 1989 AD in advocacy activities, events and Islamic gatherings that were considered as precursors to the establishment of the Salvation Front.

Soon many dialogues took place in the (Da`wah Association), the result of which was the emergence of multiple streams, the most important of which was the formation of the “United Islamic Front”, which Mahfouz Nahnah rejected, and the Brotherhood who participated in the Front in bread demonstrations in 1988 AD, and the Brotherhood fought with the municipal elections in 1990. They participated in the legislative elections to choose the People’s Assembly in Algeria on 12/26/1991.

The Brotherhood would move away from the front and ally themselves with the Algerian regime, while most of the members of the Salvation Front were arrested.
