German intelligence fears of ISIS activity in Europe

German intelligence reports expressed their fear of carrying out terrorist operations carried out by the “ISIS” organization, taking advantage of the chaos in European countries and their security services during their response to the emerging Corona virus.

Gerhard Konrad, the former German intelligence official in Syria, adopted the theory of the exploitation of ISIS in several reports published by the German newspaper Die Welt, which quoted Konrad as saying that European countries should be cautious and cautious about the organization carrying out specific operations, taking advantage of the anarchy that Invading Europe, demanding the authorities of his country and European agencies, the need for vigilance to prevent terrorist organizations, from attempts to regroup again after the state of the diaspora that occurred immediately after the fall of the town of “Al-Baghouz”, the stronghold of the organization’s last elements in Syria at the hands of the international coalition forces last year.

Meanwhile, “Bernet Schmidbauer,” a former German intelligence official, addressed the necessity of developing strategic plans that are in line with the new challenges brought about by terrorist organizations, from rearranging their papers in light of the changes brought about by the “Corona Mosquito” virus on the global security map.

The risk of an influx of refugees

Bernd Schmidbauer said in a report, which was circulated by European newspapers late last year, that Europe witnessed in 2015 the arrival of large numbers of refugees, including extremists, in addition to terrorist elements belonging to ISIS, as happened in 2016, when the head of German intelligence revealed, Hans-Georg, on the arrival of 17 terrorists from the organization to Europe, with the need to assume that ISIS is preparing for additional attacks in European countries, including Germany.

The month of November 2017, the beginning of the “thread” that the German intelligence picked up with the arrest of 6 Syrian refugees on suspicion of belonging to “ISIS” who tried to carry out terrorist operations in Germany, then investigations with them revealed that they belonged to the terrorist organization.

German intelligence has linked the outbreak of the Corona epidemic to terrorist acts that are more likely after all European agencies are busy monitoring the cases of Corona, a stage that may be exploited by the elements of the organization, or what is known as the individual organization wolves in the heart of the white continent.

Gerhard Konrad, a former German intelligence official in Syria, confirmed that one of the main current tasks of European intelligence, headed by German, is to monitor the organization and track its elements not only within Europe, but also within the countries of the Middle East in anticipation of surprises.
