Qatari Emir ignores citizens, send additional medical aid to Iran

Despite the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Qatar, its Emir, Tamim Bin Hamad, has ignored the needs of his emirate and the screams of its tribes, and sent for the third time medical aid to his ally Iran.

Qatar has sent a new consignment of goods and medical supplies to Iran, weighing 15 tons, according to the Qatari Fund for Development (QFFD).

Qatar had previously sent two shipments of health and medical supplies to Iran in the past month and a half.

According to a secret report claimed by Qatarileaks, Al-Ghufran and Al-Murrah tribes in Qatar are living very harsh circumstances, because of the lack of food commodities, and the Virus outbreak among them, as the residents attacked the Hamad’s government, demanding the same treatment as the Iranians and the Turks.

The two tribes are opponents of the regime in Doha, citizenship was withdrawn from their members, and their bank assets were frozen, and now, government hospitals refuse to receive them, while private hospitals exceed their financial capabilities.

Despite these needs, Tamim completely ignored these demands, and gave preference to appeasing Iran at the expense of the demands of his own people.

Moreover, in addition to the extreme poverty experienced by those deprived of nationality, the Qatari authorities also refuse to send ambulances to them when requested, despite reporting cases that show symptoms of corona.

On April 22, Tamim in a telephone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani referred to the spread of the coronavirus and stressed the two countries must work together to prevent the spread of the disease.”

The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Iran has surpassed 88,000, of whom more than 66,000 have fully recovered from the disease, according to the country’s Health Ministry officials.

And because of the opening of the field of aviation, out of courtesy towards with Iran, which is the epicenter of the virus, Saudi activist Saud Al-Hamyani Al-Otaibi said in a tweet that the Qatari hospitals are full of patients, and the number is rapidly increasing, with no hope of containing the situation..
