Houthi militia continues its terrorist attacks in Yemen at Eid

The Houthi militia continues their terrorist activities in Yemen and their bloody crimes continued in the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan until the holiday that was deprived of celebration by the families of the martyrs who fell in the hands of the militia.

A statement from the coalition revealed that the Houthi violations of the calm have increased since its announcement on the eighth of last April to three thousand and 758 violations.

Houthi terrorist militias, backed by Iran, have also assaulted residential villages in the Al-Duraimi district of Hodeidah governorate, with heavy and medium weapons.

Local sources revealed that the Houthi militia bombed villages in Al-Duraimi with 120-mm heavy mortars, confirming that the militia members opened fire with automatic weapons on innocent citizens.

Militias continued their crimes against civilians, without regard to the sanctity of the holy month, nor to celebrate the holiday and in light of international calls for a ceasefire and united efforts in the face of the threat of the spread of the Corona virus.

Houthi militias, residential villages and farms in Al-Duraimi district, south of Hodeidah, also violently sprayed artillery shells, while the joint forces managed to retaliate and quell the sources of fire and destroy a militia kit. According to local sources, Houthi militias fired 14 120-mm mortar shells towards residential villages and farms in a hysterical and continuous manner, and created a state of fear and terror among the safe citizens in their homes.

The sources added that the militias targeted medium-caliber weapons with various calibres and with snipers, farms of citizens in separate areas of Al-Drahamy.

The government forces announced the liberation of a number of sites in the Nahham district, east of the capital, Sanaa. “The army forces supported by the popular resistance launched a qualitative attack, during which they were able to liberate a number of strategic locations in the Najd al-Ataq front in the Directorate of Naham, all the way to the mountains of Bahra and Manama,” a military source said.

The source added, that the battles resulted in the killing of at least 20 members of the Houthi militia and the wounding of others, in addition to other equipment losses.

He pointed out that government forces recovered quantities of various weapons and ammunition, including a vehicle and three crews.

The source pointed out that the sites liberated by the national army forces were stationed by the Houthi militia, and through it shelled villages and residential neighborhoods in the west of Marib, leaving civilian victims, the last of whom was the martyr Fatima Al-Ajdai. During the past days, the Houthi militia militia has intensified the bombing of residential neighborhoods in the city of Marib.
