At the time, they refuse to implement the new pharmacy law by the Mauritanian authorities that regulates putting an end to pharmacists and the way they work.

In April 2019, media reports stated that the former Mauritanian president, “Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz”, was seeking to stop the cash flow by Turkey and Qatar in order to finance the National Rally for Reform and Development, after several warnings by Mauritanian political experts of the existence of a “Turkish-Qatari” plot to destabilize Mauritania is stable, especially as it was preparing to hold the presidential elections on June 22, 2019, and Turkey has always sought to exploit such events to push its alleged group to take control of the government.
