Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations are working hard to keep up with the American presidential elections which will be held on November 3.
They hold seminars and organize gatherings that focus on the expected Muslim voter turnout in the elections. They also try to forecast the candidate of choice for the majority of Muslim voters. According to opinion polls conducted by these organizations, most of America’s Muslims will vote for Joe Biden, the candidate of the Democratic Party.
Polls
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced on October 5 the results of a poll it conducted among Muslims in different parts of the United States.
It said 71% of Muslim voters will vote for Biden in the elections. Only 18% of the voters said they would vote for Donald Trump, CAIR said.
The remaining number of voters was undecided on any of the two candidates.
CAIR, which faces accusations of being affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood, added that Biden’s chances of winning the presidential vote rose to 59%, following his first debate with Trump a few days ago.
It said 89% of America’s Muslims said they would participate in the elections. However, 5% of Muslim voters said they still had not decided whether to cast their ballots in the elections or not, CAIR said.
In doing this, CAIR wants to give the impression that Muslim votes will make a difference in the elections.
It also wants to show that Muslims will actually cast their ballots in the elections, not sit on the spectators’ benches.
