Qatar keeps spreading rumors about relations between the United Arab Emirates and Algeria. Qatari news outlets published news recently about the UAE banning the entry of Algerian citizens into it.
Algerian denials
Algerian authorities denied news about banning the entry of Algerian nationals into the UAE. They described it as “false”.
The Algerian Foreign Ministry accused what it described as “suspicious” agencies of standing behind this news.
“The authorities in the UAE deny this news categorically,” the ministry said. “This news has nothing to do with reality.”
The ministry added that a document propagated by some news outlets and social media about including Algeria in a list of states whose citizens would be banned from entering the UAE is fabricated.
Fabricated document
According to some reports, the abovementioned document is an attempt by the Muslim Brotherhood to spoil relations between Algeria and the UAE.
The appearance of the document comes after Algiers and Abu Dhabi declared plans to increase trade exchange between them.
The same reports points to involvement in the publication of the document by the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Rachad movement in Algeria.
Plans
Rachad coordinated its moves in this regard with the outlawed Salvation Front in Algeria and the far-right in France, the reports said.
However, the declaration by Algeria and the UAE about their plans to increase economic cooperation between them is sabotaging this plan.
Rachad is bankrolled by Qatar, according to some leaked documents.
The same documents throw light on the huge wealth the members of the movement are amassing.
