Iraq’s National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji and the Saudi Ambassador to Baghdad, Abdulaziz al-Shammari, have discussed the political and security situation in the region.
Their talks on Tuesday also focused on “ways to end differences in a way that serves the interests of the region’s countries and peoples.”
According to Araji’s press office, they discussed reinforcing fraternal ties between Baghdad and Riyadh and stressed rapprochement with all sides through constructive dialogue and joint work.
Dialogue, understanding, and good neighborliness promote stability and development, and encourage investment, it said.
The statement read that it is highly significant that the region witnesses more stability.
