Saudi Arabia cooperates in the fight against terrorism with all states, including Pakistan.
The two countries vowed during the latest meeting in Jeddah between Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to enhance their cooperation in the fight against terrorism even more in the coming period.
They signed agreements that will cement their ties and cooperation in the fight against extremism.
Crown Prince bin Salman and Prime Minister Khan highlighted the depth of relations between their two countries and the importance of intensifying cooperation and coordination in all fields, the official Saudi news agency said.
They also underscored the importance of cooperation between Islamic states in the fight against extremism and sectarianism.
Saudi Arabia was the first country Prime Minister Khan visited following his election in 2018. However, the two countries were not on good terms during recent months.
Nevertheless, the latest visit to Saudi Arabia by the Pakistani prime minister seems to have mended fences.
Officials from the two countries signed a series of agreements and memorandums of understanding, including for financing projects in the field of energy, infrastructure, water and communications.
