Former Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok said that Sudan is going through a difficult and catastrophic situation, noting that Sudan has not faced a crisis this bad since its independence.
He added during a press conference on Sunday evening that peace is the only option available to the Sudanese people to avoid a civil war, stressing, “The war in Sudan must stop today before tomorrow.”
“We need to sit at the dialogue table to solve the Sudan crisis. We repeat the call to the leadership of the army and the Rapid Support Forces for a dialogue that ends the current situation,” Hamdok said.
