Former Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, described Sunday the humanitarian situation in his country as ‘catastrophic’.
The Sudanese people, he said, have no choice but peace.
At a press briefing in Sudanese capital Khartoum, Hamdok called for an immediate ceasefire and quick understandings between warring parties in his country.
He also called on Arab and African states to support the Sudanese people, noting that they go through extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.
Hamdok called for dialogue on the road to an agreement. He also called for rejecting foreign interference in Sudanese affairs.
