German security apparatus have recently launched a crackdown on mosques in a move to stamp out the extremist ideology that spread inciting speech led by radicals who control several mosques there.
The European democratic country realized the gravity of these mosques by which the extremists use to sow violence in the country. Muslim Brotherhood and salafists seize control of a quite number of Germany’s mosques to enlist refugees in order to exploit them later in violent acts against the state, according to security apparatus which monitored the case.
The members of that groups have become a nightmare for the state advocating human rights in the last few years, and that may raise a question of how they integrate into the society to this extent and control more than 90 mosques which remained uncontrolled by the German police for a long period.
German security agencies divide Islamist movements into three groups, according to official reports.
The first is legal and it doesn’t use violence, but it considers the state as infidel, according to the agencies. The members of this group work on spreading Sharia (Islamic Law) to replace the German law, and they also campaign to circulate their beliefs and thoughts on Internet, exploiting freedom laws to achieve this goal.
The second group is Jihadists who adopt violence to meet their ends by calling on people to kill non-Muslims not in Germany but also around the world. The thoughts, pursued by its members, consider non-Muslims as the enemies of Islam.
The last one, according to the intelligence classifications, represents a special case for Germany because its members belong to the salafi movement which some of its supporters do not instigate for violence, but the others, forming 20 percent of salafists, do the opposite.
According to security agencies, there are hundreds of attempts to enlist refugees in the ranks of terrorist organizations.
Intelligence director Hans George Messen disclosed of 340 case identified by security agencies, but he referred that it may be another unknown elements.
“It is difficult to track all the refugees to ensure they are not involved in such organizations. We need the society to be cautious and inform us about anyone acting suspiciously,” Messen said.
The German intelligence director warned of the refugees who represent the first nucleus of extremism and that poses a big threat to our country.
