The National Elections Authority (NEA), chaired by Counselor Lasheen Ibrahim, Sunday urged citizens who are not staying in their hometowns to register their new electoral constituencies in their governorate of residence in order to cast their votes in the presidential elections.
The authority has established primary courtrooms across the country presided by a judge and two assisting staff to swiftly finalize the registration of the new electoral places of citizens, Authority Spokesman Counselor Mahmoud el Sherif said.
The committees allocated for collecting the applications are operating daily from 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. including Fridays and official holidays from January 9 through February 28.(MENA)
