The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced on Tuesday its intention to file a complaint to the International Civil Aviation Agency (ICAO) after two of its aircraft carrying civilians were attacked twice by Qatari fighter jets.
This attach consider an escalation from Doha against the counterterrorism four countries, which include Egypt and Saudi Arabia, in addition to Bahrain. This incident happened, in conjunction with an undeclared visit from the country’s Emir, Tamim bin Hamad, to Turkey, for meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
It is known, Turkey host the international organization of the terrorist group Muslims Brotherhood, which has a Qatari support, like many terrorist organizations, while observers were waiting for Abu Dhabi’s options to respond to the incident, experts and officials identified the reasons for this clear violation.
UAE is considering legal options
The General of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority, General Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, said that his country would accuse Doha in front of the ICAO, in contravention of Chicago International Civil Aviation Convention.
A statement issued by the UAE’s main civil aviation department said that “UAE may change the routes of its civil aircraft to prevent any future interception by Qatari fighters jets. The UAE Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said the interception was seriously and not allowed according to international standards, pointing out that “this interception threats the passengers’ life”, and was in an available international shipping route.
The CAA mentioned that, Qatar, responsible for the safety of passengers and the interception occurred by Qatari fighter jets, pointing out that the course of the aircraft is international, civilian, available and well known, and Qatar has not objected to this route. He also added that the legal team examines all the violations with evidence to include them in the complaint that we will raise before international bodies.
The four countries fighting the terrorism: a full-fledged terrorist act
The incident, according to all observers in the four countries, is a full-fledged terrorist act, targeting the innocent lives of travelers and endangering them. It constitutes a crime and violating the international conventions. The Arab governments and peoples, as well as Qatari citizens who reject the policies of their Emir, were convicted this violation.
Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the intercept of Qatari jets to an aircraft flying from the UAE to Bahrain during a normal flight on Monday morning while flying on normal routes.
Egypt strongly condemned Qatar’s conduct to the Emirates aircraft, asserting that the intercept of Qatari fighter jets to two civil aircraft violates international conventions, and unjustified action and severe danger to the safety and security of air navigation.
Qatari opposition expresses dissatisfaction
The Qatari opposition, in turn, expressed its displeasure with the shameful attitude of the Hamdeen regime, stressing that it stood by the Arab brothers.
“The targeting of civilian planes and innocent people is evidence of the madness of the brutal regime, and this stupid act will have its fate,” the opposition statement said. They added “We insist on the liberation of Qatar from this regime and the Revolutionary Guards.”
The Qatari opposition added that the UAE has a huge arsenal of air force and playing a dirty game will lead to a disaster, saying: We hope the country’s brutal regime to be careful to manipulate the fate of the people of Qatar.
Sultan bin Suhaim, head of the Qatari opposition, said the reason for the Qatari military planes intercepting the two UAE civilian planes was the belief that Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali al-Thani, the ninth son of the former ruler of Qatar and the opposition of the ruling family, was aboard one of them.
Game of Iran and Turkey … Position of a desperate state
The Qatari act may seem infantile, irresponsible or predictable from a regime that lacks the minimum of responsibility, guidance and wisdom, but is in fact a dangerous escalation in the context of the intimate relationship between the Hamdeen regime and countries that seek to destroy the region in search of regional influence such as Iran and Turkey. There are observers who confirmed that the US base in Qatar was aware of the implementation of the intercept operation of the aircraft, and the participation of Turkish aircraft, which means it is an attempt to destabilize security and stability.
Ambassador Assem Mujahid, member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, stressed that Turkey is using Qatar as a Trojan horse to carry out its plans in the region.
Mujahid expected that Turkey has proposed to Qatar to intercept the UAE civil aircraft that was heading to Bahrain, especially as Tamim is visiting Turkey.
«Mujahid» said in statements to the « Albawabh News»: There are indications that the F-16 aircraft that intercepted the UAE civil aircraft are Turkish planes, and it is known that Ankara seeks to harm the interests of Arab countries which fighting terrorism, And they use the naive regime of Hamdine to pass its scheme.
«Mujahid» mentioned the aims of the Qatari action, which he described as an unwise because it is detrimental to Qatar and pushing the boycott countries to a greater escalation in doing more sanctions on them. They attempt to move the stagnant water that hit the movement International mediation between Doha and the boycotting countries.
This is a strong indicator of the damage done to the Hamdeen system by their positions of Arab countries calling for fighting terrorism.
At least, the UAE has many options to deal with the Qatari situation, the least of which is Doha’s dispute with the International Air Council and the adoption of international sanctions against it, as it threatens civil aviation, which contravenes international conventions on aviation safety.
For his part, Ambassador Syed Abuzaid, a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, warned of an Iranian-Turkish plot to drag the UAE into military action against Qatar, describing Qatar’s action to as “a kind of internationally and regionally unacceptable escalation.”
“Qatar’s interception to an Emirati passenger plane raises many signs of understanding,” he said, adding that the relationship between the Hamdeen system with Turkey and Iran had become “so strong”.
“These countries are working to ruin the region, And each has its own conspiring project on the security and stability of the Arab region, Iran through its support for armed Shiite groups, and Turkey hosts the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist ».
