US Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Jerusalem on Monday as part of his visit to Israel, the first by a high-ranking US official since President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in December 2017, the BBC reported.
Pence met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem upon arrival. Later in the day, he will address the Knesset.
Pence arrived in Israel Sunday evening in the third stop of his Middle East visit. He has already visited Egypt and Jordan.(MENA)
