Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani said that the process of relocating the statue of Ramses II to its new place in the Grand Egyptian Museum costed 13.6 million pounds, including the measures taken to ensure the safe transfer of the giant statue.
In a statement on Thursday, Anani said that the process of moving the statue has been carried out by the Antiquities Ministry, in cooperation with the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and the Arab Contractors Company. (MENA)
