The main note that I want to talk about is the need to hear from those living in the Middle East. There is a big problem with two parts. Mr. Roland would like France to approach to Iran and Estino support him in that, while I disagree with the two men.
The Iranians believe that the Jews in Israel have a nuclear bomb, the Sunni in Pakistan have a nuclear bomb, the Buddhists in India have a nuclear bomb, they also believe that the Catholic Christians in France have a nuclear bomb, the Protestant Christians in America have a bomb, Confucius have a nuclear bomb, Orthodox Christians in the Soviet Union have a nuclear bomb, so they asked why not Shiite didn’t have nuclear bomb?
That implacable ideology threatens the peace which we call for in the Middle East. Iran will not calm down unless it makes a nuclear bomb to try to break up the region and establish a very large Shiite empire in the region. It is not Shiite because our Shia are our brothers in religion and in the homeland.
Historically, The Arab region must have a leading country to be the center of focus in the Middle East. Now, we in that region have four important countries in the Middle East, Egypt with its Islamic and Arab Position, representing Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan and all Arab League countries with their Position, Israel, with its American support and the constant threat of using nuclear bombs, as a racist state in the Middle East, Turkey and Iran.
Turkey wants to join the European Union and has nothing to do with the Middle East and they always think about when the Americans, rather than the Europeans, will allow joining the European Union. If the Americans allow, European will approval joining Turkey to EU.
While Israel lives among of Arab hostility, so it cannot lead this region at all, even if it has the potential for leadership. There are only two states are able to drag this region to peace with the West and the Americans, they are Iran and Egypt.
I think that history, reality and the future say that Egypt will prevail in this battle and that Egypt will lead the Middle East to a lasting peace, and you see what the Egyptian leadership is doing between Hamas and Fatah in an attempt to open the way towards a lasting peace with The Israeli state, you see what it is doing in the face of terrorism, whether in the Sinai or in some parts of the world, and what it does on Syrian soil despite its alliance with Saudi Arabia. Egypt is helping Syria to end this bloody conflict and helping Yemen in a bid to save this region from sectarian wars and a regional war that will ignite the world later. Iran goes further into Iraq through Shiite parties and to control Yemen through the Houthis. Iran also attempts to control the rule in Bahrain.
Iran is not the future of the region. Iran must be pressured so that this region can live in lasting peace. I am not in defense of the Saudi, but I am a researcher who tries to explain the reality. It seems that your talk about Wahhabism and his talk about the Egyptian-Saudi alliance could have been talked about 3 years ago, but today the situation has changed completely.
We not judge people for their history, even if the Muslim Brotherhood organization now resorted to these societies and recognized democracy and freedom of expression. We were far from their history. There is a real change in Saudi for all of us instead of being held accountable for the past to push for more change. Terrorism in Yemen and many other countries and help Egypt in the war against the Muslim Brotherhood, which was a former ally for ten years.
Talk about Saudi Arabia is a long talk, but all the ideas about Saudi Arabia may say that it was true 3 or 4 years ago, but what follows the Arab Spring the changes in the intellectual and political structure and the Saudi trends have to be revived.
Every day there is a change in the Middle East. There are five important meetings between the Director General of the Egyptian General Intelligence and the Director of the Syrian General Intelligence, in which the terrorists who come from Syria and the borders they come from were identified and then an understanding was reached with the Iraqis And the Lebanese to stop the flow of these people and then stop funding. Egypt is the only country that says there is no solution in Syria without Bashar Assad. Egypt is the only country that says this among allies saying the killing of Bashar al-Assad, Egypt is the only country that there is no solution in Syria.
In 1981 when Kamal al-Sananiri, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Guidance Bureau and in charge of the Brotherhood’s armed wing, met with Abdullah Azzam and ordered him on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood to travel to Afghanistan to form a rapid intervention force to help Muslim in the world. Azzam traveled to Afghanistan and formed the so-called “Mujahideen Services Office” in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden joined to him later. Azzam’s role was to create a database of mujahedeen from around the world. After Azzam killing, Osama bin Laden used the database of mujahedeen to form al-Qaed and Ayman al-Zawahri in 1998 joined to be the group, which began to implement the idea of fighting the distant enemy.
After the US strike on Kabul in response to the al-Qaeda attack on the World Trade Center in 2001, Osama bin Laden divided al-Qaeda into two parts to hide from the US attack. The first part of al-Qaeda traveled to Tora Bora, the second was under the command of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who entered Iran in 2002, then al-Zarqawi infiltrated into northern Iraq to join the Ansar al-Islam, which was loyal to al-Qaeda and formed the so-called “Jama’at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad” after the Baathists joined them during the US invasion of Iraq. Jama’at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad asked to join to al-Qaeda led by Osama bin Laden. In 2010 Abu Omer al-Baghdadi, was killed, and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi appointed in his place, to establish al-Qaeda in Mesopotamia and then al-Qaeda in Syria which lead to the current name of the Islamic state in Syria and Iraq, (Da’ash) so this organization came out of the cloak of al-Qaeda.
