The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that 134 Turkish soldiers and 108 militants from the People’s Protection Units (YPG) were killed in the clashes in Syria’s Afrin.
The clashes are still ongoing between the Turkish army and the Kurdish YPG in northern and western Afrin countryside, Al Hurra channel reported Monday.
Turkey launched the “Olive Branch” operation against the YPG, in Afrin across the Turkish border on January 20, saying it killed around 900 Kurdish militants. (MENA)
