Salafist Jihadism origin of world terrorism, says Labeviere

French journalist, Richard Labeviere, said today that some terrorist groups are fully dedicated to violence.

The author of the book, “Dollars for Terror: The US and Islam”, Labeviere added that Salafist Jihadist groups like al-Qaeda function as a strong magnet for terrorists everywhere.

He added at a seminar in Munich, Germany, on terrorism funding and the role the state of Qatar plays in this funding that there is an urgent need for presenting an accurate definition of terrorism as a term.

“Some people consider Palestinian demonstrators a group of fighters, while the Israelis consider them terrorists,” Labeviere said.

The seminar is held on the sidelines of the Security Conference in Munich.
