Work is regular in all polling stations in 2nd day of presidential election: Daqahlia

Governor of Daqahlia Ahmed Shaarawy said Tuesday that work is regular in all polling stations since they were opened for voters at 9 a.m.

All polling stations are secured by the Armed Forces in coordination with the civilian police and all executive bodies, Shaarawy said the governor in a statement.

The governor followed up the electoral process from the main operations room at the governorate’s headquarters through direct contacts with the officials at the secondary operations rooms in the governorate’s towns and cities to ensure smooth casting.

So far, no complaints have been received, so far Shaarawy added.
