CAIRO – 12 June 2018: Western countries’ attitudes towards the Muslim Brotherhood have been tainted by mistakes from the beginning, said lawmaker Abdel Rahim Ali, the president of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris (CEMO) and the editor-in-chief of Al-Bawaba News at the European Parliament (EP) on Tuesday, adding that Germany had dealt with terrorists as “refugees” fled the regime of late President Gamal Nasser, who recognised the East Germany.
The notion of relying on “big brothers” to prevent the spread of violence and drugs in the French suburbs have built up the immunity of the Muslim Brotherhood to be considerable power, Dr. Abdel Rahim said, adding that the Federation of Islamic Organizations in France has 250 organizations, while the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe reached more than 500 organizations, he added.
Abdel Rahim continued that he chaos of using money under the pretext of building worshipping buildings for the Muslim communities helped those organized force to intensify their activities and became a deep state that has the ability to give, grant, or deprive. “This influential power helped recruit more people on the basis of mutual interests. Therefore, many politicians have joined their camp. The examples are many and varied,” he said.
Lawmaker Abdel Rahim Ali gave a speech at the European Parliament in France’s Strasbourg city, talking on the threats of the increasing presence of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe and the risks of financing terrorism.
Abdel-Rahim Ali’s speech at the EP is a notable victory against all pressures practiced by Qatar and Brotherhood to prevent his presence in the parliament since they fear revealing more details about their terrorist activities in Europe.
