Le Pen has asked French President Macron to explain what happened in the case of Benalla, AFP reported.
The leader of the National Front said in a video published by the French news agency AFP that the matter has to do with the circumstances that made these behaviors possible. She added that there are also some questions about who discovered it and how these behaviors reflect the nature of governance in France.
Le Pen confirmed that this case shows that Macron had forgotten to discharge his presidential duties. It also shows, she added, that Macron violated the principles on which the Republic is based.
She also noted that Benalla and Vincent Crase, a second bodyguard, had benefited from illegitimate and illegal immunity. Le Pen said that the Interior Minister did not take due action against these practices. The security sector, she added, could not deny the special tasks assigned to these two bodyguards at the Elysee. French politicians say that they do not know from where these two bodyguards came and why they have an incomprehensible benefit
