President Abdel Fattah El Sisi underscored Egypt’s keenness on promoting cooperation with China in the various fields particularly the economic, cultural, tourism and scientific ones to make best use of the Chinese side’s expertise in reaching the aspired development in Egypt.
Egypt highly respects and admires China especially with its success in construction and development, President Sisi said here on Sunday during his visit to the Chinese Communist Party Academy, one of the important educational institutions in China that is responsible for training officials and leaders for assuming high-level posts.
The president first visited the academy’s museum which dates back to 1933 and held a meeting with the academy’s president and leaders who welcomed the Egyptian leader’s visit. They expounded the academy’s role in rehabilitating and training Chinese leaders in the various fields and sectors of the state, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The president raised the academy’s important role in training the Chinese political elite and government cadres with the aim of expanding their global vision and promoting their strategic thinking which enables them to carry out their posts efficiently.
The president wrote a note in the academy’s book of honor expressing his admiration of the academy as a high-level edifice that contributes to graduating generations that shoulder the responsibility of the progress and development of the Chinese people. The president wished the Chinese people constant loftiness and progress.
The Egyptian president addressed the academy’s leaders and students and leaders of the Chinese Communist Party in which he expressed appreciation to the Chinese government and people for the progress reached in development.
The president held an open dialogue with students of the academy during which he answered their queries on Egyptian-Chinese relations and the future of conditions in Egypt and the Arab region.
President Sisi reviewed the economic reform and the mega projects implemented recently with the aim of creating an atmosphere favorable for attracting foreign investments through providing infrastructure including modern roads, electricity plants, new cities, new harbors, investment-luring legislations and economic reform.
The president reviewed the latest developments in Egypt in light of the events of 2011 and the state’s focus on safeguarding the state through reestablishing its institutions, restoring stability and security and fighting terrorism.
