The US forces in Afghanistan have carried out an airstrike on Taliban factory which was used to manufacture improvised explosive devices (IED), the local officials said, according to Khaama Press on Tuesday.
The provincial government media office has said in a statement that the airstrike was carried out in the vicinity of Mamozai area of Zurmat district.
The statement further added that the IED manufacturing factory was destroyed and two militants were killed during the air raid.
