Said al-Lundi, an expert on international relations at the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies said that the summit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in his country on the situation in Syria, namely Idlib on the 27th of this month, will not succeed and will not solve the crisis of terrorism in Idlib, because of this, the marginalization of the Syrian president at that summit, because Syria is supposed to be present at the Quartet summit.

In an exclusive statement to the «reference», al-Lundi stressed that Turkey wants to impose the tutelage on Syria and Idleb through this summit, claiming terrorism and fighting it, all with the support of the European countries participating in the Erdogan summit, taking advantage of Syria’s need for help and support.

The international relations expert at the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies pointed out that Turkey does not want to solve the Idlib crisis because most of its terrorist groups sponsor it, but it wants to appear to the world in a good and peace-loving way.

The terrorist crisis in Idlib will not be solved

Mokhtar al-Ghabashi, a political analyst and vice president of the Arab Center for Political and Strategic Studies, said the four-way summit in Turkey would be a research summit to discuss the situation in the Northern Province of Idlib and the crisis of terrorist groups in that province would not be resolved.

In his own remarks to the «reference», Ghobashi added that Idlib has a great problem over the armed factions, namely that there are 3 million Syrian citizens among the residents, refugees and displaced people. The solution of this crisis will not be through a research summit, but through new strategies and policies.
