Libya’s Al-Wefaq militias are trying to tarnish the military operation launched by the Libyan National Army under the leadership of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, to gain media assistance provided by notorious organizations, which are sponsored by Qatar and Turkey. They circulate groundless allegations of a so-called humanitarian crisis in Tripoli in the wake of the military operation to liberate Tripoli.
The Libyan army’s military operation is aimed at recapturing Tripoli and expelling the terrorist militias while protecting the civilians. The Libyan army does not use the civilians as human shields as Al-Wefaq militias do.
The Libyan News Agency quoted Khalifa al-Obaidi, head of the Information Office of the General Command of the Libyan National Army, as saying that Marshal Haftar had instructed to embark on communication with the Libyan young people, who joined the armed militias to show them the facts the real situation on the ground.
Al-Obaidi praised the young people who abandon the terrorist militias, which are seeking foreign and regional agendas.
In response to a video posted on the social media featuring a Libyan woman requesting her pension, Marshal Haftar ordered to pay salaries of citizens in all freed areas.
On April 4, Marshal Haftar announced the military operation to recapture Tripoli from the terrorist militias in a recorded statement from the Information Office of the General Command of the Libyan National Army.
