The terrorist Houthi militia does its best to make the largest number of gains on the ground, using the Stockholm deal which was signed in December last year.
In doing this, it uses a lot of maneuvers, one time declaring that it would withdraw from the Red Sea port city of Hudaydah and another time declaring a ceasefire.
Nevertheless, the Arab coalition for the return of legitimacy to Yemen has already realized that the Houthis are doing nothing but playing and wasting time.
Yemeni army troops, which are backed by the Arab coalition, are intensifying their campaign against the Iran-aligned militia, especially after targeting neighboring Arab states at the orders of Iran which wants to reduce American pressure on it.
Yemeni army spokesman Abdu Majaly revealed on May 17th that Yemeni army troops had discovered two arms warehouses which were also used by the Houthis in assembling the drones they use in staging attacks against neighboring states. The two warehouses, he said, were found in the Hajjah and Saada provinces.
Yemeni army troops succeeded, meanwhile, in foiling a bid by Houthi terrorists to sneak out of Hudaydah on May 17th. Six terrorists were killed in the operation, whereas other members of the militia present in the same operation ran away.
Yemeni army troops deployed in the southern province of Ad Dali’ also succeeded in liberating a number of areas from Houthi control, having received support from allied vigilantes. The troops also killed 80 Houthi militiamen and destroyed a large number of military equipment.
As it carries out these operations, the Yemeni army receives air support from the Saudi Arabia-led coalition.
Coalition forces also staged airstrikes against arms depots in southern Yemen, leaving more than 45 Houthi militiamen dead.
