The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the casualties of Israeli warplanes’ shelling on Syrian territories increased to 15 people including six civilians, Al Arabiya Al Hadath reported on Monday.
SOHR said that Israeli warplanes and warships hit targets of the regime’s army and of the Iranian militiamen and the Lebanese Hezbollah within both the countryside of Damascus and Homs.
The shelling targeted the vicinity of the capital Damascus including the 1st Division in Al-Kiswah area south of Damascus, the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in the Regiment 91 in the south of Damascus, the scientific research center in Jamraya in Rif Dimashq, and the orchards between Jadidat Artouz and Sahnaya in Rif Dimashq, which caused material damage to property of the citizens and the injury of a number of citizens due to the fall of shrapnel from the missiles on the area.
The Israeli bombardment also targeted military positions affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah in the barren mountains of Qara and Felita, where the raids and the warships’ bombardment resulted in the outbreak of huge fires as a result of the explosion of ammunition warehouses.
