A missile landed near a military base hosting US forces in the Iraqi city of Mosul in the middle of last month, causing no injuries, followed by another missile that hit the headquarters of international oil companies south of Basra, prompting the Iraqi authorities at the time to warn that it will not allow tampering with Iraq’s security.

For his part, the leader of the General People’s Congress Party, Kamel Khoudani said that the Houthi militias resorted to those acts after the great defeats suffered by the army and the Yemeni resistance, adding that the past weeks were a witness to the collapse of the ranks of the Huthi militia in light of the advance of the army in several fronts, especially in the areas of Dalea and Sa’ada.
Al-Khoudani said in a statement to the Reference that the militia is subjected to depletion leading to moral and political defeat before the defeat on the ground, pointing out that there is a conflict between the leaders of Houthi in Sanaa and Saada because of the losses of the militia on these fronts.
