Ghada Abdel Rahim organized a special course in music therapy in Whitelands collage, Life and Psychological Sciences department at Roehampton University (UK).
The course included many theoretical lectures, workshops and case studies, and videos of practical experiments.
The course, which lasted 35 hours from 29 July to 2 August, was concerned with the effects of music therapy in the learning difficulties in children, autism, aging, pain relief, psychological trauma, behavioral problems and muscular diseases.
The course included 14 trainees from Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Britain and Egypt.
And attended by the trainer: Tina Warnock, Hcpc registered music therapist and Dirctor for Belltree music therapy cic UK.
Egypt was represented in this course by Dr Ghada Abdel Rahim as the author of the first Phd in the field of music psychology.
