Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service announced on Monday that 15 terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were killed during a security operation near Saladin province, north of Baghdad.
The spokesman for the Counter-Terrorism Service said in a statement that the operation was carried out, upon a tip-off and in coordination with the US-led international coalition in Mutaibijah and desert areas in Saladin, leaving 15 terrorists dead.
The troops also arrested nine terrorists and destroyed several hotbeds and tunnels that were used by Daesh militants, the statement added.
