Doha continues to work to strengthen its Brotherhood arms, which are everywhere in the world, by providing support so that they can carry out their goals and plan for control.
It is working to strengthen and support the Muslim Brotherhood in Canada, as revealed by Canadian journalist Daniel Boardman on September 10 this month on the Canadian news channel TAG TV.
Qatar Charity paid bribes to Canadian politicians in support of the Brotherhood, so senior parliamentarians who receive funds from the Qatar Charity should be discovered, including Patrick Brown, the mayor of Brampton, the former leader of the conservative Progressive Ontario Party.
The Canadian writer Tom Koegen, a member of the Canadian National Security Experts Network, said in a report posted on the foreign code on April 30 that there were documents proving Qatari government funding for Brotherhood affiliates in Canada.
All of them are organizations of Islamic cultural centers, mosques and Islamic schools in all provinces of Canada. “These organizations never deny their links to political Islam inside and outside Canada, and through their official English-language websites they call for radical Islam and incite the fight against non-Muslims,” Koegen said.
The documents indicate that Canadian politicians are involved in funding from the Hamdeen organization and belong to the three major political parties, the ruling Liberal Party, the opposition Conservative Party and the Progressive Democratic Party.
The Brotherhood’s activities in the Canadian territory are numerous under many names, but their management is hidden, for fear of security prosecution. These activities include: Muslim student unions, community institutions, charities, Islamic schools, the role of memorizing the Holy Quran, and running mosques in Canadian cities.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s experience of establishing charitable associations and foundations in Canada dates back to the late 20th century. In the 1980s and 1990s, the emigration of Afghans, Lebanese, Palestinians, Syrians, Somalis and Iraqis from their countries increased.
Why Canada?
The Brotherhood works to spread and expand in North American countries in general and in Canada in particular, which is seen by its leaders as an integral part of the Brotherhood project aimed at controlling decision-making on the western side. The Brotherhood seeks to penetrate into Canadian society, under the names and activities pigmented in the Islamic form, despite what it hides from the seeds of extremism and spread sedition.
The organization faced many difficulties, especially after the failure of its project in Egypt, as some members of the group fled to Canada after June 30, 2013, and sought to penetrate further within the community there, and exploited that expansion to distort the Egyptian state.
Canada is confronting
In September 2017, an investigation by the Canadian Income Authority found a charity in the country linked to an institution in Qatar, which provides support for terrorism.
The Irfan Charitable Foundation placed one of the Brotherhood’s financial arms in Canada on the lists of terrorist organizations in 2014, after it was found to have financed campaigns for the Brotherhood inside the country.
In August, the Canadian police arrested the imam of the Killarney Community Center, Shaaban Sharif Madi, following complaints of his use of hate speech in his speeches, on the Internet, declaring support for the Muslim Brotherhood and attacking President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on his Facebook page.
