Saudi Arabia’s King Salman received on Sunday Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and the President of Sudan’s sovereign council General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan in Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Kingdom is working on removing Sudan from the US State Sponsors of Terror list, as well as establishing ambitious investment projects, and improving existing projects, the foreign ministry said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, Sudan said it seeks to support the Kingdom in its international forums, create an investment environment in the country, and expand its agricultural sector, as well as remove its name from the US State Sponsors of Terror list.
King Salman wished Sudan “continued stability and prosperity,” according to the Kingdom’s foreign ministry.
Al-Burhan expressed his country’s appreciation of the Kingdom’s support and well wishes.
