In light of the painful blows by the Arab coalition against the Houthi militia in Yemen, and amid the growing siege by the Yemeni joint forces against the Tehran-backed terrorist militia, the death toll among the Houthis has risen.
A statement by the Yemeni National Army said Houthi leader Hamza Al-Shaabany, along with dozen militants, were killed during armed confrontation as they tried to sneak into army locations in northern Abs District of the Hajjah Governorate.
In the fifth military zone, Yemeni National Army forces also managed to deter a group of Houthi militants trying to sneak into military zone no. 5, and forced them to retreat.
The Houthi rebel militia, according to the statement, also suffered dozens of deaths and injuries during its failed infiltration attempts in the past few days in the same province.
The Yemeni army announced on Monday 22 October 2019 new field advances, supported by helicopters of the Arab Coalition, in the Razih district, west of Saada province, the main stronghold of the Houthi coup militia.
A statement, published by the official website of the Yemeni army, that the areas of «Beit Hasharan», «Mataq», «Otam» and «Arisha» in the Directorate of Razih were liberated as Houthi militants fled the area.
Colonel Adnan Jassar said in press remarks that the artillery of the National Army targeted this morning a gathering of Houthi terrorists in BaniMa’in Directorate Razih.
Jassar added that the artillery of the National Army hit the Houthi group with high accuracy, while preparing to infiltrate the positions of the National Army.
According to the remarks, the bombing killed more than six Houthi militants, and wounded 10 others.
Mortar shells fired by the Houthi rebels hit a displacement camp in south Yemen’s Dhalea province on Wednesday, leaving five people injured.
Local residents confirmed that flames were seen rising from the targeted displacement camp following the Houthi shelling.
Many families who were living inside the displacement camp fled their tents amid fears of renewed shelling, according to the residents.
For his part, Yemeni political analyst Abdelkarim Al-Medi affirmed in an interview with The Reference that the killing of Al-Shaabany, along with dozens of his militants, presents a heavy blow to the Houthis, who have been enduring severe losses amid intensified operations against their terror.
He further added that the Sa’ada Front is considered to be one of the most prominent military fronts active against the Houthi militia, pointing out that the heroes of the Yemeni army are seeking to liberate Sa’ada from the terrorist militia and return it to the Republic of Yemen.
He also stressed that the Arab coalition, played a major role in the victories of the Yemeni army, stressing that these victories are faced with lies by Houthi about the capture and targeting of heroes of the Yemeni army and Arab coalition forces.
