Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah on Thursday sent a cable of condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the death of a number of Egyptians at a fire caused by an oil pipeline leak in Etai el Baroud town, Beheira governorate, the official Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
The blaze left six people dead and 15 others injured, according to the health Ministry.
In the cable, the Kuwaiti emir offered his sincere condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah sent similar cables to President Sisi.
