The Peace Society Movement participated in the 1997 elections to stand out as an Islamic force to be reckoned under the dome of Parliament, winning 69 seats to occupy the second position before the National Liberation Front.
She describes herself as a comprehensive and reformist popular, whose motto is: science, justice and work. However, after the death of its founder, Sheikh Mahfouz Nahnah, and Sheikh Abi Jarrah Sultani assumed the event of rivalry and dissent.
Advocacy and change movement
