Qatar’s regime has not only applied wrong policies to tackle COVID-19 pandemic, but it is also killing citizens by this deadly virus. The Qatari regime’s policies have increased the number of people infected with the coronavirus as the government has failed completely in curbing the spread of the virus and protect the Qatari citizens.
On May 1, a field hospital treating patients with coronavirus collapsed a few days after it was built. The collapse has revealed the emirate’s weak infrastructure as well as the weak capabilities of the Doha regime.
Qatar’s Ministry of Health said strong winds caused the collapse of the hospital, which was built in the Doha Industrial Zone. All patients were safely evacuated and there were no injuries.
However, some 23 workers were injured while carrying the patients out of the hospital.
The collapse has triggered a wave of public anger with Qataris calling for the accountability for those responsible for the hospital’s collapse, citing that 120 million riyals were spent on that collapsed hospital.
Qatari German Medical Devices Company said on March 29 that it had posted a net loss of 10.38 million riyals.
Last year, the Qatari opposition YouTube channel Mubasher Qatar said that the Qatari regime neglected the healthcare sector, leading to the spread of diseases among the citizens.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in Qatar reached 14,782 as on May 2. The Qatari regime has adopted wrong policies since the emergence of the pandemic.
It has opened airports to some countries, where COVID-19 spread fast, like Iran and Turkey.
