Habiboglu: Head of Turkish Union of Western Thrace and Erdogan’s mouthpiece against Greece, Europe

Khaled Habiboglu, the president of the Turkish Union of Western Thrace, has become one of the most important tools that Ankara created there, by holding the position of president of the Western Turkish Thracian Union, in which an estimated 150,000 Turkish people live there to implement its desires through the formation of voices that perpetuate hostility towards Greece.

This comes amid the recent dispute over the refugee background, being the head of the Muslim Turks Union there, which implements the directives and instructions of the Turkish state deservedly to continue hostility with the countries of the West and Greece, under calls to protect Muslims there.

Implementing Ankara agendas

The so-called “president of the Union of Western Thrace Turks”, which is directly supported by Turkey, soon became one of its most tumultuous voices in implementing its instructions towards the western countries, especially Greece, particularly during the recent period, which witnessed remarkable tension between the two countries, against the background of Turkey opening its doors for refugees to pass to Europe.

This comes as Khaled Habiboglu intends to attack Greece, desiring to create a complete confusion within the Greek circles during recent times. He said, “Greece followed the policy of denying the national identity of the Turks,” confirming that their homeland is Greece, and that idea should be eliminated as quickly as possible.

The Turkish Union of Western Thrace, headed by Habiboglu, provided several malicious reports against Greece, in favor of Turkey, including what was alleged during the attacks on the Turkish minority in Western Thrace and its properties and mosques

This comes in addition to its claim that the union seeks to put the problem of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace, within the OSCE agenda in an organized way, by participating in the meetings of the organization with a human dimension, continuing his allegations, that they submitted other reports to the organization, in the name of minority grievances and the acts of aggression by Greece against them in Western Thrace, according to his claim.
