Brotherhood using CAIR to incite street protests in US

The Muslim Brotherhood continues to use its arms everywhere around the world to advance its own agenda, sometimes using popular protests and other times using lies and fake news.

The killing of black American man, George Floyd, at the hands of policemen on May 25 sparked a massive wave of protests across the United States. The protests came as the U.S. prepared for new presidential elections at the end of this year.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group known to have links to the Muslim Brotherhood, used the same protests to advance the agenda of the Islamist organization.

On June 12, CAIR organized a live discussion on the need for dissolving American police.

The branch of the organization in Baltimore formulated a bill for amending the salaries of policemen in the city and reducing financial allocations to them.

CAIR also used the protests in raising funds. It said it would offer legal advocacy for those arrested during protests against the lockdown imposed by some American states as part of measures to reduce Covid-19 infections.

Executive Director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, Dawud Walid, said black Americans were traumatized because of police violence.

He blamed this violence for the death of many black Americans whose killers are usually not punished for their crimes.

Walid said he and fellow black Americans know people who were killed by police.

We have our personal experiences of dear ones and friends who were killed unjustly by law-enforcement officers, American newspapers quoted Walid as saying.

There are also repeated videos and photos of white people killing blacks. Sorry to say, they are not punished for their crimes, which causes shock to a lot of people, he added.

CAIR is known to be an arm of the International Organization of the Muslim Brotherhood. It works to serve the interests of the terrorist organization. It defends the organization in Arab states and inside American institutions.
