Pompeo made a foreign tour, with Israel at its head after his visit to Sudan and Bahrain, to be the destination of the Emirates after that, at a time when the administration of US President Donald Trump intensified its efforts to push a group of Arab countries to sign peace agreements with the Israeli side. .

The American President emphasized that the treaty could lead to achieving peace in the Middle East, and revealed that there are other countries that might want to join such a treaty, because it is a great treaty, and there A universal welcome to her.

That visit was preceded by a phone call from Pompeo, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who discussed the peace treaty between the UAE and Israel, and the prospects for strengthening it in a way that serves the foundations of peace and stability in the region, and discussed strategic relations between The UAE and the United States, and ways to support and develop them at various levels in order to enhance the common interests of the two friendly countries, and discuss many regional and international issues.
