In this episode, we will talk about the use of music in the treatment of organic and psychological diseases.

From a clinical point of view, psychological and organic diseases are often closely intertwined. This makes it difficult to treat one without caring about the other. It is necessary to treat the patient as a whole.

Music serving doctors; rhythms restore body order

Every organic disease affects the psychological state of the patient. The psychological and moral state of a person greatly affects his willingness to contract a number of organic diseases.

However, each of these aspects has a special nature. This is why we will study each of them separately. We will also study the different medical specialties that are related to this or that field.

Music, in general, is a human element. Its tones flow and penetrate the soul and the body to give the desired effect until it reaches the final goal, namely making the desired behavioral change.

Therapists use music as a tool to assist each patient in reorganizing his irregular and disorganized lifestyles in social behavior, and transforming them into a style consistent and responsive to the requirements of life.

In order to reach the desired goals, a number of conditions must be met, among them is the introduction of the element of training and a sense of beauty and pleasure through music. This can be done by actively contributing to rhythms, songs and playing musical instruments. This compounds other treatment methods that are compatible with each case.

There is an important note that we need to make before starting the treatment. It is imperative to know that the disease has to be diagnosed. This diagnosis must include knowing the age, nationality, culture, habits and hobbies of the owner of this condition, rather than knowing his organic state and the state of his nervous system. We must also measure his pulse, blood pressure and breathing.
