Former Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, said Sunday that humanitarian suffering in his country is exacerbated by current clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Force.
He warned at a press briefing in Khartoum that these clashes would cause further destruction in Sudan.
“Everybody will lose because of these confrontations,” the former Sudanese prime minister said.
He called on the international community and regional states to help Sudan get over its current plight.
“The Sudanese have been suffering already before these confrontations and now they suffer even more,” Hamdok said.
