The Ministry of Higher Education announced that Egypt won the co-chair of The Partnership on Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area “PRIMA”. The vote was held yesterday in Barcelona, Spain and Dr. Mohamed El-Shennawy, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, won by 14 votes out of 18 votes.
Egypt will be co-chairing Italy for this initiative, which financial is half billion euros to support research and innovation cooperation in the Mediterranean region.
