Tony Blair arrived to Egypt for a brief visit

British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrived to Egypt Tuesday for a brief visit to discuss regional developments.

He is scheduled to meet with a number of senior officials and personalities to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East, especially the peace process and the situation in Syria, Yemen, Libya and Iraq, and to confront the terrorist organizations.

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb will meet Tony Blair in Cairo to discuss terrorism and the impact of extreme ideologies on the world.

The former British Prime Minister is also the head of the Global Change Institute which is a non-profit organization, set up by Blair in December 2016 to promote the benefits of globalization. Blair served as the British Prime Minister from 1997 to 2007.
