«Ghada Abdel Rahim»…The Ambassador of happiness, the women rights defender

She values the importance role of women and youth in society, as well as she defends strongly for the rights of women and people with special needs.

She launched several initiatives, including «weladha.sanadha», which translated in English “its supportive youth initiative” and «we can initiative », and for her efforts got the title of “the Ambassador of happiness”.

Dr. Ghada Abdel-Rahim, head of “weladha sanadha” initiative, has been chosen by Alkhaleej as the person of one of its previous editions, with an interview conducted by Nashat Al-Dabbis in the newspaper.

She talked in the interview about her efforts in the defense of women’s rights, helping the needy, and caring for talent.

The interview expressed her constant desire to promote human and multiple talents and showed the details of the “we can initiative” which held to discuss the importance of providing entertainment and develop their artistic, literary, sporting and musical talents, in addition to solving their problems.

The newspaper pointed out that the “Ambassador of happiness” was able to inspire the spirit of ambition in the youth, believing that she carried the responsibility of defending women, helping the needy and caring of talent.

About her defense of women, Dr. Ghada Abdel Rahim said that “there is great suffering for women in the Arab society, because of the accumulated neglect” She points out those women are the whole society and have a great role in the progress. She dreams of seeing Arab women as a present or as prime minister positions.

On “Stat Masr” initiative, she says that it highlights the economic capabilities of girls in villages, and marketing their work, and aims to defend the rights of women, expressing deep sadness of the phenomenon of domestic violence, and believes that this phenomenon because of the neglect of the female personality in the society.

She added: «she has established many initiatives to support women and promote the thinking of young people, because she cares for everyone, both in Egypt or the Arab world».

In her view, Egypt is losing billions of dollars every year because of the brain drain, and hopes to bring together all those who scientifically and culturally success under one umbrella to convey to the world that Egypt has millions of inventors.

On the five-year plan she wants to achieve, she said “I  hope to create young cadres able to develop society and continue to defend women’s social issues” concluding her interview by expressing hope that “peace and security will prevail over all in our Arab world.
