The Palestinian Authority intends to take new measures against US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize al Quds as the capital of Israel, said Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al Malki Sunday.
Malki’s remarks followed a UN General Assembly vote against Trump’s move.
The PA will continue to follow up the Palestinian State file with some European countries, Malki said, hoping the next months would see a breakthrough in this regard.
He made it clear that the Palestinian measures will include action inside the UN General Assembly and Security Council, as well as the International Criminal Court and Human Rights Council.
On Thursday, 128 countries voted in an extra-ordinary UNGA session against Trump’s recognition of al Quds as the capital of Israel. (MENA)
