Export councils to participate in 2018 Canton Fair

Head of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council Khaled Abul Makarem has disclosed preparations for a number of international functions to take place in 2018 in coordination between the export councils, the Egyptian Exporters Association and the Export Development Authority as part of the coordination plan for the councils to raise the volume of Egyptian exports to around dlrs 40 billion in the coming phase.

In statements Tuesday, Abul Makarem said a coordination meeting for the councils, with the participation of the Egyptian Exporters Association, was held to review a number of initiatives and ideas to increase the growth rate of exports in 2018 by 15% to hit the aspired target of dlrs 25.7 billion.

An agreement has been reached on the participation of the councils in the 2018 China Import and Export Fair (Canton), one of the largest and oldest trade fairs in China that takes place twice a year, in April and October or November.(MENA)
