Iman Ragab, an Egyptian scientist, has won the first award from the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) for her study on the Arab national security and a strategy to face challenges.
Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar was present at the AL General Secretariat during the distribution of the awards.
Egyptian scientist Hazem Omar won the second award for his study on the Arab national security in the 21st century.
The awards were distributed on the sidelines of the 16th conference of Arab ministers of education.
The conference was held under the auspices of AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit. (MENA)
